West Yorkshire Hunt Saboteurs use non-violent direct action to stop illegal blood sports around Yorkshire, and assist other groups to do the same around the country. We mainly focus on fox and hare hunting (Illegal in the UK since 2005), but we are also involved in campaigns against shooting, Hare coursing, rabbiting (rabbit hunting) and other forms of hunting.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Information is needed on any hunts in your area; locations of hunt meets are particularly useful.

- Do you have any unwanted equipment, which could help us save animals lives?
we can make use of
Video cameras,
Dictaphones,
maps (OS maps especially),
compasses,
mobile phones,
binoculars and
GPS devices (you can’t blame us for trying),
old climbing rope (for making whip noises),
empty spray bottles,
pure citronella oil,
- If you can offer any of these items please get in touch.
- Donations of money are still required to help cover the cost of petrol, the purchase of maps and videotapes. Along with vehicle repairs, gizmos (a wonderful little bit of kit that makes the dogs chase us rather than the fox) and other bits of kit. (click here to donate)
